You will be working as Design Engineer at Global Grade 15, reporting to the Engineering Manager for Electrification business area, Services division based in Nashik, India. You will be responsible for creating and modifying the standard designs of equipment, systems or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication or construction for assignments classified as low to medium complexity by applying standard design concepts. Your responsibilities Designing engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contractual specification Participating in project meetings and presenting specific aspects of design assignments Using standard processes and tools, assisting in developing new processes and tools for reuse of technical solutions Supporting technical risk assessments and implements resulting actions for one\'s projects Coordinating with manufacturing and testing functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured or staged and tested Coordinating with commissioning or servicing functions to ensure the designs are appropriately installed and commissioned (if applicable as part of the contract) Your background Bachelor\'s degree in technology A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines A collaborative, solution-focused approach Strong written and spoken communication skill More about us ABB\'s Electrification Business Area (BA) is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control, and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption.
