You will be working as Design engineer LV Panels - Electrical and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Project Manager and will be responsible for completing assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. Your responsibilities Providing quality solutions as per customer requirements and delivering within budget and contract value. Ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks Reviewing tender documents and preparing modifying drawings in accordance with required safety regulations and contractual requirements and in line with Artu-k standards TTA assembly Creating or modifying general arrangement and well versed in machinery and tools. Selection of switch gear and relay components as per the requirement or applications Sizing of power and control cables and Busbars as per IEC or IS standards. Applying Electrical Standard Design Process and rules Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to identify and select enclosure part to build power enclosure panel (Artu-k) Releasing bill of material and manufacturing drawings for manufacturing and procurement of switchgear and enclosure parts Providing technical support in drawing preparation for manufacture and testing. Providing technical evaluation of supplier proposals and accepting as fit for purpose supplied equipment or services Your background Bachelor\'s degree or diploma in electrical engineering Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in LV switchgear engineering involving MCC, PCC, IMCC, comprising components like ACB, MCCB, Soft Starters, VFD, ATS, Transformer Bus duct Good knowledge in MS Office, Auto CAD, EPLAN and SAP Good verbal and written communication skills More about us ABB Smart Power is a global technology leader, with products and solutions that make power supplies smart, connected and protected.
