: Your Tasks : Design and development of components to support lift axle control system (which consists of automatic load sensing valve (ALSV), quick release valve (QRV), Relay valve (RV), inversion relay valve (IRV), direction control valve (5x2 and 3x2) double check valve, Non return valve, Pressure limiting valve (PLV), pressure regulating valve (PRV) etc., ) Support lead engineer in assessing customer & legal requirements, in identification of gaps and in translation into technical requirements Plan mechanical design and development tasks and support to lead engineer in calculating design and development cost and Timing. Develop product concepts according to technical requirements and field experience. And evaluate different concepts (own, competitors, suppliers) to find best cost option using DFA & 6 Sigma methods Consider design rules & design standards, foster standardization, Incorporate technical calculations and simulations as well as test results in the design. Define materials and production processes for new components in alignment with experts Initiate and follow-up patent analysis\' and identify ideas for own patents and support to file invention record and filing patents. Your Profile: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile-Full time) with minimum 5-8 Years of experience Minimum 5 to 8 years of design, application or testing experience in pneumatic control valves, design of lift axle control system (LACV), basis vehicles configuration, vehicle braking and steering system, electricals with casting and plastic modeling manufacturing knowledge Additionally, expertise in Creo CAD software and tolerance stack up calculation is must and expertise required in 2D drafting and GD &T knowledge in casting part design and sheet metal parts and design for manufacturing and assembly and Knowledge in Design of pneumatic valves design/testing Knowledge of CAD & PLM systems , literate in DFMEA systematic & tools and supporting proto / testing team in fitment and validation activity and working with multiple suppliers & perform adequate reviews.
