Job Profile
• Architectural designs and developing drawings as per local building byelaws. Drawing shall include plan, elevation, sections and detailing in terms of area usage and facilities to be provided.
• Also having strong technical leadership analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills to join our project management and Aizawl Sustainable Urban Transport project team.



Main responsibilities include:


• Developing the site plan beyond the concept plan level which was prepared during feasibility stage.
• Planning and developing architectural plan and layout (plans / elevations/ sections) for each component of all the projects including planning for all the necessary facilities such as water supply, sewage, electricity, plumbing, fire-fighting, public address and ICT.
• Projects include:
• Skywalk
• Vertical mobility
• Corridor and Junction (2 corridors)
• Bus and maxi cab terminals (3 nos.)
• Truck terminals (3 nos.)
• City bus depots (6 nos.)
• Developing specifications for components taking into consideration materials that would be available and used. Reference to be drawn from Mizoram SOR.
• Coordinating with PMU staff to seek approval on concept designs developed.
• Coordination with the inter disciplinary team members including Electrical/ ITS/ Quantity Survey/ Environmental/ Social/ Financial/ Economics/ AutoCAD etc. for the project delivery as per the ToR.
• All the Architectural design works should be prepared using an integrated approach that adopts smart growth principles, keeping in mind the future needs, viable new technologies for enhancing efficiency of service delivery and effective coverage; and adopting low-impact development/ green infrastructure principles, as feasible.




Minimum qualification
• Master's degree in architecture or equivalent.
• Preferably 12 Years experience in infrastructure design services particularly for urban transport projects.
• Experience of projects funded by ADB and/or multilateral funding agencies is desirable.
• Industry: Infrastructure projects (NMT, Townships, smart cities, multilateral funded projects)
• Experience in infrastructure designing in Hilly areas
• Functional Area: Architecture/ Engineering
