Job Overview We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team at DCS Group. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products, improving existing designs, and providing engineering support throughout the product development process. This is a full-time position based in Shikrapur, Maharashtra, India. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 1 to 3 years of experience in design engineering Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Roles And Responsibilities Design and develop new products, ensuring they meet the technical and functional requirements Improve existing product designs by conducting analysis and implementing design modifications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and translate them into design specifications Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and tests to validate designs Produce prototypes and conduct experiments to verify design functionality Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure successful product integration Troubleshoot and resolve design issues and recommend corrective actions Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in design engineering Develop detailed product designs based on customer requirements, taking into account functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturing feasibility. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D and 3D models of sheet metal components and assemblies. Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and manufacturability, ensuring that the final product meets performance requirements while minimizing material waste and production time. Perform tolerance analysis to ensure that sheet metal components can be manufactured within specified tolerances and that they will fit together correctly during assembly.
