: Design Engineer II -Support the growth of Regal Rexnord\'s IPS-ETO Couplings Business. This position is responsible for analyzing and designing routine/ new components or products and improving existing components or products. Ideal candidate is one with a strong technical background and aptitude. The person will contribute to provide design support for orders/quotes as well as projects for the Marine coupling business. Major Responsibilities: Assists with designs or improves routine components and products with a solid understanding of design tools and analysis methods. Assists in solving routine problems with a solid aptitude for problem solving skills. Execute orders/offers for ETO Couplings. Work with global teams such as engineering, operations, sales. Support various projects such as NPDs, cost out/redesigns, simplification. Assist in developing routine design test plans from existing test protocols for routine products or components. Follow Regal Rexnord Ethics and Safety Programs. Perform other assignments as per business need. Qualifications and Job Requirements: BE Mechanical/Production Engineering from a reputed college. 2 to 4 yrs. experience in industrial product design. Rotating equipment design experience such as gearboxes, pumps, couplings, turbine (Coupling preferred) Hands on experience in CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo/Solid Edge/AutoCAD - Any of these) Knowledge of GD&T, drafting standards and International material standards is must. Sound understanding of design engineering principles and practices. Experience with industry standards such as DIN, AGMA, API, ANSI . (preferred) Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications Competent in Microsoft computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Professional, high-energy, inquisitive. Undertake work in an efficient and timely manner. Team-oriented and able to support multiple projects of varying size.
