? Job Title: DesignEngineer/Sr.Design Engineer - Fire & SafetySystem

? Reporting to: Manager-D&E

? Location: Hyderabad

? Min. Qualification: B.E./B.Tech

Purpose: To ensure completion of fire & safety design requirements as per the stipulated time frames.

Roles & Responsibilities:

? Design of water-based fire protection system, fire detection & alarm system, public address system, gas suppression system,fire extinguishers etc.

? Site survey to have clarity on the type of structures and discussion with the client for the requirements of the buildings for design and build jobs.

? Preparation of design basis report for design and build jobs.

? Preparation of tender drawings for design and build jobs.

? Preparation of tender BOQ for design and build jobs.

? Attending technical meetings with client to clarify their doubts about design considerations etc.

? Attending technical meetings with client/consultant for tendered jobs to discuss the requirements or to get clarity on the requirements.

? Preparation of shop drawing based on the BOQ & GFC drawings and getting the approval for the same from consultant/client within stipulated timelines.

? Preparation of technical datasheet based on the BOQ requirements and getting the approval for the same from consultant/client within stipulated timelines.

? Preparation of bill of material (BOM) for billable and non-billable based on the approved shop drawings and sharing the same with the project team for furtherance within stipulated timelines.

? Preparation of variation statement based on the shop drawing vs BOQ and sharing the same with the sales team for furtherance.

? Ensure the as-built preparation based on the inputs received from the project team on time and share the same with the project team for furtherance.

? Ability to design with various design codes & standards such as NBC, IS, NFPA, and know about FM Global.

? Drafting knowledge in AutoCAD is required. Revit knowledge is an added advantage.

? Value engineering the design parameters.

Desired Candidate Profile:

? Should be B.E./B.Tech with 3+ years of experience in designing of fire & safety systems. CCTV, ACS, BMS etc. would be an added advantage.

? Should have handled warehouse, Industrial, and commercial project designs.

? Good communication and interpersonal skills.

? Shall have a private mode of transportation.
