- Design and develop electronic systems, circuits, and components according to project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and research to evaluate the technical and economic viability of proposed designs.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to integrate electronic systems into overall product designs.
- Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation using industry-standard design tools.
- Prototype and test electronic designs to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Analyze and troubleshoot design issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in electronics and electrical engineering to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into designs.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and results for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance teams during product development and production phases.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to select components and materials that meet performance, cost, and reliability requirements.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (X years) in electronic circuit design, PCB layout, and simulation.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, signal processing, and power electronics principles.
- Experience with microcontrollers, FPGAs, embedded systems, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing electronic product design (e.g., EMC, safety standards).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a research and development environment is a plus.
