JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary: This position is responsible for assisting in designing of new components or products and improve existing components or products. Major Responsibilities: xefx82xb7 Provide support to execute standard and ETO/DTO inquiries, quotes, orders. xefx82xb7 Assist in creating/modifying existing 2D/3D layouts, assemblies as per customer requirements. xefx82xb7 Work on ECRs/ECNs, create complete and accurate drawing packages within assigned time xefx82xb7 Provides support to design or improves basic components and products with a basic understanding of design tools and methods. xefx82xb7 Optimizes basic components and products with a basic understanding of analysis methods. xefx82xb7 Assists in solving basic problems with an aptitude for basic problem solving skills. xefx82xb7 May assist in developing basic test plans from existing test protocol for basic products or components. xefx82xb7 Support in creating design documents, installation instructions, customer data sheets etc. xefx82xb7 Communicate effectively and professionally with cross functional teams and customers. xefx82xb7 Perform other duties and responsibilities as required. Required Education / Experience / Skills: xefx82xb7 Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree/Diploma in mechanical/production engineering from a reputed college with xefx82xb7 good academic record. xefx82xb7 Experience: 06 months to 1 year of experience in designing any industrial products like Bearing, Couplings, gearboxes, pumps, Material handling equipment or machine tools. xefx82xb7 Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications. xefx82xb7 Proficient in 3D Modelling and 2D drafting with any of below CAD tool/tools o SolidEdge, SolidWorks xefx82xb7 Knowledge of GD&T, drafting standards. xefx82xb7 Self-motivated, capable of workingwith minimal supervision and with sense of urgency. xefx82xb7 Competent in Microsoft computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). xefx82xb7 Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills.Travel: less than 10% Language: EnglishAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a $6.5B publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
