Position Summary: This position is responsible for assisting in designing of new components or products and improve existing components or products. Major Responsibilities: \xef\x82\xb7 Provide support to execute standard and ETO/DTO inquiries, quotes, orders. \xef\x82\xb7 Assist in creating/modifying existing 2D/3D layouts, assemblies as per customer requirements. \xef\x82\xb7 Work on ECRs/ECNs, create complete and accurate drawing packages within assigned time \xef\x82\xb7 Provides support to design or improves basic components and products with a basic understanding of design tools and methods. \xef\x82\xb7 Optimizes basic components and products with a basic understanding of analysis methods. \xef\x82\xb7 Assists in solving basic problems with an aptitude for basic problem solving skills. \xef\x82\xb7 May assist in developing basic test plans from existing test protocol for basic products or components. \xef\x82\xb7 Support in creating design documents, installation instructions, customer data sheets etc. \xef\x82\xb7 Communicate effectively and professionally with cross functional teams and customers. \xef\x82\xb7 Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.Required Education / Experience / Skills: \xef\x82\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree/Diploma in mechanical/production engineering from a reputed college with good academic record. \xef\x82\xb7 Experience: 06 months to 1 year of experience in designing any industrial products like Bearing, Couplings, gearboxes, pumps, Material handling equipment or machine tools. \xef\x82\xb7 Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications. \xef\x82\xb7 Proficient in 3D Modelling and 2D drafting with any of below CAD tool/tools o SolidEdge, SolidWorks \xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of GD&T, drafting standards. \xef\x82\xb7 Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and with sense of urgency. \xef\x82\xb7 Competent in Microsoft computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). \xef\x82\xb7 Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
