(Technical Department) Designation: Design Engineer Reporting to: Assistant General Manager - Projects Experience: 1-2 Years Field Experience: Water & Waste water treatment industry/relevant industry Job Location: Ahmedabad Educational Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor Engineer (Mechanical/Civil) Skills Required: Master Skill: Engineering Design, Expertise in drafting Software Operating Skill: AutoCAD 2D/3D, MS Office Soft Skill: Communication, Team Work, Creativity, Adaptability : Create technical drawings, Schematics, and 2D models of mechanical equipment designs, using measurements, specifications and additional data from design engineer using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Collect initial drawings, calculations and design ideas from engineers, and combine all relevant data into coherent and complete initial design models for review and modification. Verify all numerical designations and specifications in technical drawings and schematics, using both CAD programs and manual calculations when necessary. Prepare a complete detailed civil engineering drawing. Prepare piping layout drawing and work out BOQ for pipes and fittings. Prepare equipment layout, complete plant room drawings for all types of projects. Preparation of all documents like Datasheets P & IDs As Built Drawings Operation Manuals Improvise on engineering to make it more and more cost-effective. Communication and meeting with Client, Architect or Consultant regarding design & drawings. Provide Backend support to Project Team regarding documentation, material and project updates. Maintain Project update Sheets and Bar Chart to make sure completion of project within due time. Communication with Draftsman and respective Sales Peron regarding completion of drawings as per time limit.
