Responsibilities & Key Deliverables1. First Time Right Developement of Skin Panels, Light & Heavy Fabrication Chassis Parts - Press & Welding Parts.
2. Tools, Fixtures, Panel Checkers & Receivers Gauges Design Validation along with improvement suggestion to achieve Zero defect. Periodic Life Monitoring.
3. Press Machines, Tools, Weldings fixtures - Proven out trails for Mass Production readiness.
4. PPAP Approval with Pilot batch run along with operational management.
5. Reduction in Supplier Rejection PPMs for regular Parts.
6. PCPA - Process Control Plan based Audits of BO Parts.
7. Tools, Fixtures & Gaues periodic calibration & Life Monitoring.
8. Problem resolution of Parts (CAPA) - Receipt Gate, Line & Field Failures.
9. Part DOL Certification & Sustenance.
10. Supplier Quality Rating Improvement.
11. Supplier Upgradation & Capability Improvement to achieve Zero Defect.Experience10 - 13 yearsIndustry PreferredOEMs, Sheel Metal Renowned Tier I Suppliers, Tools & Dies Maker.QualificationsBE / B Tech , Mechanical / Production EnggGeneral RequirementsGeneral Requirement:1. Excellent in Metrology, Chemical & Mechanical Properties.
2. Quality Management System ISO 9001, ISO /TS systems.
3. Expert on Soft skills - Word/ Excel, Power Presentation.
4. Should be expert in data analysis.Functional competencies:1. Structured Problem Solving Methodology - 7 QC Tools, Advanced Quality Tools & their application - Six Sigma Yellow Belt/ Green Belt
2. Drawings study and specification review.
3. Measuring instruments, Receiver gauges, 2D & CMM inspections.
4. SPC, MSA, Process capability & Process performance, VSM, VA & VE, DOE.
5. Parts Developement APQP, PPAP.
6. Kaizens, OPL, Pokeyoke & 5S techniques.
7. Project management
