Deputy Nursing Superintendent:
Qualification- B.Sc. / GNM / Diploma in nursing administration with Valid registration Certificate
Experience- Minimum 3-4 years (At least 3 years of experience in a 100 Bedded Hospital)
Salary- Negotiable (As per company norms and relevant/previous experience of the candidate)
s:
i. Will be responsible and overall In-charge of Nursing Services in a hospital or specialized center irrespective of the number of beds.
ii. Daily Rounds of the patient areas and interaction with patients regarding nursing services.
iii. Will be responsible to the Medical Supdt. or Addl. MS of the hospital .
iv. Responsible for implementing hospital policies amongst various nursing units.
v. Assist the QA Committee in formulation of hospital policy, particularly concerning nursing services.
vi. Recommending personnel and material requirement for nursing various nursing service departments of the hospital.
vii. Assisting HR Department in recruiting nursing staff.
viii. Accompanying consultants while making hospital rounds.
ix. Ensuring safe and efficient care rendered to patients in various wards.
x. Conducting regular training on nursing care protocols.
xi. Attending hospital/intra hospital meetings and conferences.
xii. Investigate all complaints regarding nursing care and personnel, and take suitable corrective action.
xiii. Evaluate confidential reports of her sub-ordinate staff and recommend for promotion, trainings etc.
xiv. Maintain cordial relations with patients and Medical Social workers.
xv. Periodically interact with clinical heads to discuss problems in patient care.
xvi. Educating nursing staff of all categories by conducting awareness program on universal Precautions.
