Job Summary . Deputy National Lead - Social Comm Job Purpose THIS JOB IS THE IMMEDIATE REPORT OF A FOCAL POINT OF THE ENTIRE WEB BUSINESS AND GROUP MARKETING FUNCTION. IT IS A SOCIAL MEDIA MAREKETING AND E-COMMERCE ROLE TO BE HEADED BY A VERY SENIOR PROFESSIONAL TO MANAGE OVERALL DOGITAL BUSINESS AND SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING THROUGH SOCIAL PLATFORMS FOR THE FUNCTION. Job Duties & Key Responsibilities . Duties and Responsibilities - CATALOGUE MANAGEMENT . Provide functional and technical support Content & Catalogue Management . Manage Procurement approval of updates to existing catalogues according to agreed processes and procedures escalating/consulting with the Category Manager by exception . Support Category Managers in root cause analysis of any issues with existing catalogues . Report out channels that are impacting on operational efficiency or user satisfaction of catalogues . Maintain standard operating procedures according to the latest catalogue management and contract management . Support Category Managers and Business resources in assessing if/where new contracts with recurring spend align to . Release communications to end-users and Category Managers informing them of new catalogues and existing catalogue compliance status . Proactively scoping participating in and delivering small local scale projects. You will define clear briefs and roadmaps setting the expectations of stakeholders effectively. . Responding promptly and accurately to questions from both customers and internal business partners including leadership teams. Escalating issues promptly and appropriately when necessary. . Configure Price Quote Management Price Rule Configuration constraint rule configuration product catalogue management . Take care of contract life cycle management configuration including review & approvals . Take care of billing and Invoicing management Integration of Billing & Invoicing . Ensure solution is scalable and meets overall business requirements including that of non-functional requirements . Guide technical team (developers) to deliver a flexible and scalable solution . You will develop relationships with the business units to better understand their needs and find appropriate solutions. . Monitor and ensure the availability of application and the underlying technology stack manage and monitor the roll-out of application updates undertake systems testing and verification at the functional level and monitor and evaluate application performance and implement modifications or adjustments as needed. . Define document and maintain rigor for software releases with best practices. . Analyze business operations and application to determine which application changes could improve efficiency enhance security and reduce cost. . Responsible for identifying classifying and recommending products across e-Commerce product portfolio . Work with category/product/technology teams to improve processes and maintain specifications of each category/product to have zero discrepancies and come up with innovative ideas . Monitor progress and manage escalations from internal and external stakeholders for various tasks on catalogues such as data quality control and catalogue creation . Work with suppliers to ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of products . Coordinate with Tech/Marketing teams for planning and strategizing marketing activities . Duties and Responsibilities - STRATEGY . Strategically plan product collections pages content updates and featured shops based on inventory needs. . Analyse data from different sources to understand business potential of different categories on eCommerce Channels . Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to sync brand-wide strategies by utilising the most productive content and exposing the highest conversion drivers. . Maintaining a strong relationship with all the POC of ecommerce portals. . Hands-on experience in ROI driven marketing/sales and other such initiatives to increase brand visibility and sales across e-commerce platforms. . Keep the product catalogue on the marketplace up-to-date. Upkeep the testing of all the details of the products uploaded. . Troubleshoot issues and monitor product listings. CANDIDATE MUST . have good written and spoken communication skills . be able to work well as part of a team with a range of creative people . have a good memory for facts and figures PARTNER MANAGEMENT . Identify agencies evaluate their capabilities in alignment with requirements and conduct negotiations for partnership PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND COACHING . Operating with considerable autonomy frugality and discretion working efficiently with good prioritization and judgment. You will help identify and evaluate potential risks and contribute to determine appropriate corrective action. . Communicating and collaborating effectively with EU peers and management. Sharing knowledge with others (both verbally and in writing) within and outside your team. . Understand the Customer\'s Needs and Wishes influence and refine their requirements and guide customers for their business processes keeping domain and Product best practices intact. . Ensure effective lines of communication between the internal and external stakeholders to ensure priority requirements for smooth business execution for the catalogue category . Dashboard & reporting of catalogue accuracy and completeness . Guiding Content creation team to create quality accurate and compliant catalogue rich content across all the platforms . Major Challenges - . Strategy to drive growth and numbers as per the targets . Key Decisions / Dimensions - Following decisions are taken by the role: . Key strategies and execution to drive the team . Catalogue management Practices and Governance framework Required Qualifications and Experience . Qualifications . Post-graduation in Engineering (IT)/Management (Marketing)/ from a Tier 1 B school, with graduation in Computer Sciences or equivalent from a Tier 1 Engineering college Work Experience . 12-15 years of overall Experience in Merchandising preferably in EComm Companies. . Functional understanding of catalogue Management / Supply Chain Management & Spend Analytics . Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. . Created SOPs on the process Activity . Knowledge of eCommerce practices & strategies . Relevant work eCommerce experience with Shopify and other leading e-commerce platforms . Experience in online merchandising
