Convert Plant Objectives/ Business Plan and Strategic Initiatives to Dept Goals related to Schedule and Lead time
Facilitate Capacity planning and load based scheduling for Order Booking for Dies, Weld lines & allied services as per Business Plan
Collect and understand customer requirements through RFQ for Cost, Quality and Delivery with build events
Identify Risk in project for quality/delivery and prepare Risk mitigation Plan
Drive cross functional teams for understating & conclusion of RFQ sign off, SOW, technical proposal sign off
Identify Long lead items, Critical path and bottlenecks to meet the project time line. Recommend alternatives
Prepare master schedule and detail schedule for load based scheduling
Conclude on Time line feasibility through load based scheduling. Project time line sign off with internal stakeholders and Customer before in warding order
Co-ordinate and conclude with cross functional teams, Supply Module time for make v/s Buy decision making.
Prepare and Plan Project Kick off meeting with cross functional teams. Communicate Deliverables
Facilitate for Project scheduling process with Master scheduler to work out the milestone level dates task per Project time line
Close co-ordination with Customer and Engineering/ Design team for Data receipt, conclusion on PCRs, Approvals, Change mgmt.,
Review and monitor progress Status of Project in stages of Engineering, Design, Mfg. , RFT to RFD
Identify Outsourcing/ subcontracting requirements. Close co-ordination with material planning and supply module depts. Track and ensure VOB as per plan
Participate in weekly reviews of Projects, highlight time line risk, propose action plan to recover delays and seek support / direction from DH, PH.
Prepare and Update weekly progress status to Customer through email and weekly reviews.
Co-ordinate for buyoffs at T&D Plant. Conclude and confirm on Open Issue List. Get Dispatch clearances from Customer panels, Dies, fixtures
Ensure Project schedule is adhered as per signed off project time line
Prepare and present Dispatch Plan as per sales turnover targets. Drive Buyoffs, Dispatch clearances to meet the target.
Monitor Lifecycle, Ageing of Production Orders/ Job Orders and take actions as per directions/ reviews
Proactively identifying & resolving problems to ensure that Project deliverables are met.
Monitoring Projects & Tasks against PQCDSM parameters Escalate issues to higher management
Ensuring adherence to Quality systems, (ISO, AFSEM, and TPM) & Customer Requirements.
Develop good understanding of business by Analyzing competition and market trends
