Olam Global Business Services (OGBS) is a captive unit that offers End to End business process and analytics solutions. OGBS currently offers its solutions in 6 Platforms: Finance, Supply Chain, People services, Risk & Market Compliance, Big Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. At this moment, OGBS is located in City of Chennai, India and provides its services to over 20 countries. Job Summary

The incumbent is expected to perform variety of FX Middle office and Back office senior roles including Monitoring and ensuring smooth Transitions, identifying offshorable opportunities from Origins, effective & efficient People management, Governance calls with Treasury and FX heads, streamlining the processes using Simplification, Automation and other Operational excellence principles, supporting for adhoc requests from various stakeholders

• Day to day risk management - Risk manage workflows for FX OTC transactions, Resolution and escalation of all client disputes and queries
• Effectively contribute to and drive global / local strategic initiatives - always pushing for incremental improvements
• Partner with internal teams - Sales, Trading, Credit, Technology and other operations teams for commercial impact and betterment of client service
• Drive process transitions & related governance and ensure proper Knowledge transfer has been acquired with smooth Go live of offshored processes.
• Projects and initiatives management and participation within the team and across regions
• Pro-actively work with external clients and other dealers to resolve recurring issues and streamline suboptimal settlement workflows
• Design and initiate process improvements with good understanding of the teams\' processes and controls
• Inspire and guide / coach team members on career progression
• Ensure adherence to Timeline and Accuracy SLAs and meet deadlines.
• Identify opportunity for offshoring process

Profile Description

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Currency / FX Operations OR any other workflow in any OTC Derivative products
• Should be a self-starter and be able to manage critical business transformation projects independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders - to be able to handle stakeholder from multiple geographies
• Willingness to travel (for shorter duration and during transitions), flexibility to stretch during month-end/year-end closures, excellent analytical capabilities and ability to manage a team of 10-12 members are all essential attributes.
