Job Purpose
The Business Finance person will be responsible for reviewing all business MIS, PNL, all
financial and critical data. He/she will share the insight and discuss with all stakeholders on cost
savings, growth.
Key Tasks: Build an analytical and data driven business finance function and
support on the following tasks\xef\x82\xb7 Set up forecasting model to help improve predictability to bring in financial discipline.
\xef\x82\xb7 Monthly / Quarterly numbers and PPT preparation for review for Leadership Team
\xef\x82\xb7 Build framework for annual operating plan and conduct periodic budget vs actual
variance analysis along with comments.
\xef\x82\xb7 Work closely with cross functional teams to resolve issues if any on P&L
\xef\x82\xb7 Guide the team on data analysis for any decision-making scenario, bringing out business
insights that are not visible in regular reviews.
\xef\x82\xb7 Proactive in reviewing financial information, identifying exceptions / and any
irregularities initiate action to rectify and follow up for logical closure.
\xef\x82\xb7 Establish ROI on investment and do monthly track and share inputs with Management.
\xef\x82\xb7 Participate in budget discussion and support scenario building / simulation modelling.
\xef\x82\xb7 Hands on experience in reporting.
\xef\x82\xb7 Analyzing Menu Mix, Sales, Cost, PNL.
\xef\x82\xb7 Driving Cost saving projectsCandidate Requirements:
Qualification
\xef\x82\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s and Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Commerce or a related
field, MBA is preferred.
\xef\x82\xb7 8+ years of experience in working in FP&A function or Business Finance preferably in
the QSR, FMCG industry.
Functional Skills
\xef\x82\xb7 Clear understanding of financial accounting and compliance
\xef\x82\xb7 In depth and practical knowledge of providing cost analysis, business case reviews and
investment analysis
\xef\x82\xb7 Strong knowledge of business budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to evaluate new business initiatives and the development of business cases to
clearly articulate the benefits of identified opportunities or projects
\xef\x82\xb7 Proficient in MS Excel / Analytics tool / BI Visualization tool
\xef\x82\xb7 Insight generation and driving improvement
\xef\x82\xb7 Vendor performance analysis and vendor optimization decision support\xef\x82\xb7 Tail end spend tracking and optimization strategy creation
\xef\x82\xb7 Working knowledge of D365 (Dynamics) and SAP is a plus
