Develop and implement training programs that align with the needs of the trade finance team Deliver training sessions and provide coaching to staff to ensure their competency in trade finance Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, guides, and presentations Keep up to date with industry trends and developments to ensure training programs remain current and relevant Collaborate with other departments to ensure the integration of trade finance training with other areas of the business Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers to access industry-specific training opportunities Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements through the development of appropriate training programs Requirements: Minimum of 8 years of experience in trade finance CDCS or CSDG certification is a must Excellent knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, ISP, URR, URDG, Incoterms, and other trade finance regulations and guidelines Familiarity with Swift messaging and other electronic trade finance platforms Ability to train staff on the correct use of trade finance documentation and procedures Knowledge of risk management and fraud prevention in trade finance Understanding of the trade finance needs of different industries and sectors Experience with creating and delivering virtual training programs is a plus Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong training and facilitation skills Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred Strong organizational and project management skills The Trade Finance Training Manager must have a strong understanding of UCP 600, ISBP, ISP, URR, URDG, Incoterms, Swift, and other trade finance regulations and guidelines to provide expert training to the trade finance team.
