Job description of Business CommunicatorMarketing, Brand & CommunicationsTitle: Deputy ManagerLocation: MumbaiRole: Business Communicator, Marketing, Brand & CommunicationsThe Business Communicator specialist will act as a single point of contact for Deloitte\'s subject matter experts and will be responsible in creating eminence for the organisation and/or the business through marketing campaigns, media and social media engagements, speaker and other external opportunities. The specialist is also expected to have experience in building media relations and should be capable of steering strategic and integrated marketing campaigns for the businesses.The individual will also support the Marketing, Brand and Communications team on other eminence activities as and when required.Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the subject matter experts and the Marketing, Brand and Communications team, to help build marketing communication strategies and specific tactical plans to build internal and external eminence.\xc2\xb7 Strategies, plan and execute media campaigns for the firm\xc2\xb7 Write, edit and produce communications materials in support of communications plans and individual projects, including press releases, pitch notes, scripts, and multimedia presentations\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with the PR (Public Relations) firm for media engagements, work on an annual strategic plan to promote businesses in select media and industry events\xc2\xb7 Partner with chamber of commerce for knowledge partnerships and speaker opportunities\xc2\xb7 Research, assess and implement innovative communications tools and methods\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with the extended Marketing, Brand & Communications team to develop and roll out external communications\xc2\xb7 Assist with other communications work as required\xc2\xb7 Keep the Brand and Communications team updated on key media developments from the region\xc2\xb7 Be the point of contact for key media journalists in Mumbai\xc2\xb7 Assist with on ground and online eventsQualifications:\xc2\xb7 A professional with 6-8 years\' experience\xc2\xb7 Holds a Bachelor\'s degree\xc2\xb7 Experience in public relations, integrated marketing communications either with a large organisation or a professional services firm would be preferred.\xc2\xb7 Proficient in English and one another language - speak, write, and edit\xc2\xb7 Experience in working with and managing teams.\xc2\xb7 Experience in using emerging technologies for effective communicationsQualities:\xc2\xb7 Aligned with our shared values\xc2\xb7 A passionate communicator\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders\xc2\xb7 Ability to support our areas of business and industry focus areas.\xc2\xb7 Excited about emerging technologies and adopting them to enable effective communications.\xc2\xb7 Executive presence while engaging with internal and external stakeholders\xc2\xb7 Ability to manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously.\xc2\xb7 Participates in discussions by sharing knowledge, experience and expressing opinions
