Know it matters. Financial Accounting & Reporting team provides accounting support to various AXA XL legal entities based out of Bermuda, UK and US. There are different sub-processes performed by Financial Accounting & Reporting team in India which includes but is not limited to: Quarter end Close Process, Reporting Process, Reconciliation Process, Planning Process, Business Analysis Process, etc. DISCOVERyour opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include Responsible for leading the team including management of financial planning, accounting, and reporting activities the division. Responsible for driving and reviewing Quarterly Income Statement and Balance Sheet, monthly/quarterly reconciliations which include but is not limited to Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations. Responsible for providing support on IFRS 17 Financial Close & reporting and analysis activities for the Life Re segment. Analyzing trends and supporting management in quarterly close and reporting process. Manage the BAU deliverables related to accounting/reporting of group treaties (Gross, Net Property QS, Internal group treaties - IGR, others). Maintain effective communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and leadership expectations. Drive continuous/ process improvement and special projects. Identify process improvements and make recommendations to streamline the process. Support and lead projects as and when required to ensure true & fair presentation of financials as a result of changes in accounting treatment, ledger clean-up activities, restructuring, etc. Handling of adhoc queries related to the process on a regular basis. Review and update internal controls (FIC) documentation/SOX compliance for various processes. You will report to Senior Manager. SHARE your talent We\'re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills And Abilities CA with relevant years of post-qualification experience in accounting and financial reporting with an experience of team handling. Effective communication & interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal/external teams across the globe. Relevant work experience preferable in the Insurance industry, financial services, or consultancy. Effective computer application skills (MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, Power BI, Qlikview). Desired Skills And Abilities Experience with Oracle EBS, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Magnitude would be advantageous. Effective analytical, research and problem solving skills.
