Supernova Engineers Ltd (www.supernovagenset.com) is a 4 decade old diesel electric gensets manufacturing company based at Ahmedabad. We are the OEA for Perkins and Volvo Penta diesel engines and are engaged in designing, selling, servicing, installing and commissioning of DG sets up to 2MW while running singly and up to 24MW in parallel.

We are looking for experienced candidates from capital equipment (mechanical/electrical) to join our Deputy Manager in control panel electrical engineering, your role would involve overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical control panels within an organization. Here are some key responsibilities and skills typically associated with this role:

Responsibilities:

• Project Management : Coordinate and manage projects related to control panel design and installation.
• Design and Engineering : Oversee the design process of electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Installation and Maintenance : Supervise the installation of control panels and ensure they function correctly. Develop maintenance schedules and oversee upkeep.
• Team Leadership : Manage a team of engineers and technicians involved in control panel projects. Provide guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Troubleshooting : Address any issues or malfunctions with electrical control panels promptly and effectively.
• Budgeting and Cost Control : Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Quality Assurance : Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical control panels.

Skills:

• Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, especially as they apply to control panels and industrial automation.
• Leadership Abilities : Effective leadership skills to manage a team and delegate tasks efficiently.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Project Management : Experience in managing projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Communication Skills : Clear communication skills to coordinate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Regulatory Knowledge : Understanding of relevant safety and regulatory standards (e.g., NEC, IEC) pertaining to electrical installations and control panels.
• Adaptability : Ability to adapt to changes in project scope, schedules, and priorities.

Education and Experience:

• Typically requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in electrical design, installation, or maintenance, with specific experience in control panels preferred.
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) may be beneficial depending on the organization and industry.
