Deputy Manager - Domestic Sales (Aroma Chemicals for Flavor and Fragrance Industry)Location: Mumbai western SuburbsCTC - upto 15 LPA Qual : BSc- Chem BE Chem, plus MBA preferred.Job Summary: Drive & Build domestic sales infra & growth, Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the market share across industries such as agarbatti, aromas, soaps, detergents, cosmetics, animal feed and additives, and pharmaceuticals.- Identify new business opportunities and develop strong relationships with key customers, including manufacturers, blenders, and distributors in the flavor and fragrance industry- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and -repeat business.- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of service- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the various sectors mentioned above.- Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform product development and sales strategies- Leverage technical knowledge of aroma chemicals to effectively communicate product benefits and applications to customers.- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of aroma chemical ingredients like Phenyl Ethyl Alcohol, Cinnamic Aldehyde, and other products used in blending for the manufacturing of flavors, fragrances, agarbatti, aromas, soaps, detergents, cosmetics, animal feed, and pharmaceuticals.- Collaborate with the R&D and Product Development teams to ensure that customer requirements are met with the appropriate product solutions- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, track sales performance, and provide regular reports to the Sales Manager.- Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth- Work closely with the production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, participate in trade shows, and organize customer events.- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to the sale and distribution of aroma chemicals.- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, contracts, and agreements.- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in sales within the aroma chemicals, flavor, and fragrance industry (ref:updazz.com)
