As a Deputy Manager in Tech Procurement, you will support the creation, execution, implementation and management of comprehensive global sourcing. This will include the implementation of category strategies; the development of negotiation strategies and contracting for master/service/product agreements within the Tech categories; the management of supplier relationships that fall outside of the enterprise SRM structure for these categories; management of category analytics to support negotiations in the Tech categories; and for ensuring the suppliers key to their category(ies) commit to deliver GSK\xe2\x80\x99s performance/quality/financial requirements.

• Under Support & Supervision manage Tech categories
• Sourcing and creation, execution and management of global level strategy
• Work across multiple countries requiring high cultural awareness
• Works within defined parameters, willing to request support when needed
• Manages relatively complex spend categories within Tech Procurement
• Conducts and monitors negotiations across the applicable categories of spend
• Knows the sourcing management process and policies
• Awareness and adherence to risk/ regulatory/ compliance requirements
• Implements procurement strategies to maximise supplier leverage aligning with Supply assurance , Quality , Service , Cost & Innovation goals
• Researches, evaluates and selects suppliers
• Collaborate with Key stakeholders to deploy Strategies globally / Regionally , facilitated by robust implementation and transition plans .
• Partner with Business stakeholders
• Understand and efficiently navigate organizational complexity to deliver set goals.
• To ensure GSK\xe2\x80\x99s Procurement policies, procedures, processes, systems and methodologies are utilized in a compliant manner in the area of responsibility.

The role is a cornerstone of the Tech procurement operating model and will enable the function to industrialise its core operation, driving best practice, providing practical knowledge for development of best in class Tech category strategies, consistency of execution, and continual improvement.

We are looking for a Category Manager and if you have these skills, we would like to speak to you.

• 4 - 8 years of total experience
• This role should have strong demonstrated procurement expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, Tech category management, cost model synthesis and supplier relationship management for delivering multi-country, high spend complex engagements.
• Demonstrated experience in navigating through organizational complexity, collaborating simultaneously with multiple teams, influencing without authority, handling escalations and associated business impact.
• Demonstrated experience in understanding and utilising complex business processes in all GSK supplier transactions, including all risk/regulatory/compliance.
• Strong experience in using tools like Ariba or other equivalent sourcing execution technology is an added advantage
