Responsible for implementing accounting practices and procedures.
Supervises a group of general accountants or accounting clerks in maintaining the general ledger.
Implements accounting policies under the direction of the Accounting Manager.
Implements processes and procedures that properly capture, track, and report revenue and expenditures.
Compiles, reviews, analyzes, and records complex financial information.
Reviews account reconciliations prepared by accountants and accounting clerks.
Reviews and interprets balance sheet and profit and loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports.
Identifies control weaknesses and communicates them to management.
Operates in a lead capacity in making remedial changes to tighten and enhance controls and mitigate risk.
Conducts research and analysis on advanced issues.
Designs, modifies, installs, and/or maintains accounting systems to ensure adequate recognition of financial transactions.
Coaches and mentors accountants and accounting clerks; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.
Process inter company transactions, perform inter company reconciliations, adherence to month close schedule and KPI\'s for inter company process and provide domain expertise for inter company transactions.
QualificationsQualifications:Skills: Technical accounting assessment, US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, financial regulations acumen, business process and internal control risk analysis, financial internal controls, financial analysis, ensuring accountability, managing ambiguity, effective communication, managing complexity, talent development, directing work. Education, Licenses, Certifications: College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or similar certification preferred. Experience : Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required, including some supervisory experience. Experience Required:- Excellent English communication \xe2\x80\x93 written and oral. Hands-on experience of working in the intercompany process.- Experience of preparing SOPs, process flowcharts, various reporting dashboards, preparing reconciliations.- Leadership experience of at least 5 years managing a team of SMEs, Managers.- Must have process transition experience.- Excellent team handling and stakeholder management experience.- Hands-on experience of managing day-to-day intercompany transactions like raising an invoice, posting the invoice, performing necessary setups, clearing the entries, following up for open items, performing reconciliations, and adhering to the month-close schedule and defined KPIs. Shift Timing: 1 pm IST to 10 pm IST and stretched hours during 1 or 2 days during month-end.
