Managing HR projects, policies, practices and programs across a specified Operating Unit to drive and enable sustainable business performance.Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the stakeholders, acting as a catalyst for change.
  • Define the organization and skill set needed, assess organization effectiveness & productivity, and identify/drive actions.
  • Management of HR policies and programs
  • Hiring reviews and approvals. Recruit on time the best Talents in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team and ensure their successful on-boarding and development.
  • Supports in ERM, Data Privacy, POSH, Statutory aspects.
  • Advise the internal customers on people issues and grievances, supported by robust measurement and evaluation; Manage and resolve employee issues.
  • Drive the India workforce planning and budget in close cooperation with the Finance team. Develop workforce planning goals and develop strategies to execution, this includes headcount and employment cost trends, using people-related metrics to support the business decisions.
  • Develop plans for capability and demographic shifts: utilize economic, financial and organizational data to build business cases for major initiatives.
  • Payroll, Transfers, Relocation, Separations, Chargeback
  • Participates in functional incentive design / plan review.
  • Be the people Business Partner for the HO leaders and their focal point for strategic initiatives and key people issues, working in close collaboration with the Regional HR
  • Plan, implement and manage change in a variety of significant settings in close collaboration with the Regions.
  • Actively participate in actions relating to Employer Branding & Employee value proposition
  • Be a Culture champion -coach the internal customers to nurture desired culture and role model the same.
  • Contribute to the DE&I strategy, Wellness Initiatives by working closely with Talent Management COE
  • Act as the engagement champion, energizing the teams and creating a great employee experience.
  • Ensure a constant and effective communication to the Otis India teams of programs and initiatives.
HR projects:
  • Set the pace of HR transformation in India by proactively identifying, advocating, deploying and maintaining focus on opportunities in close collaboration with AP/Global team.
  • Lead the deployment of key initiatives and programs, partnering with the Shared Services, COEs, and Regional HR
  • Facilitate the sharing of practices, learnings and priorities across the HR team
  • Act as catalyst to align and energize the India team, supporting the India Sr.HR Director
  • Support the preparation of the key meetings (e.g. India HR Meeting, Townhalls, Key business cycle meetings, Management meetings, Strategic Business reviews).
Role Criteria :We are looking for a HR Business partner with a strong self-starter mindset.
  • Academic : MBA in Human Resources
  • Experience : 10- 15 years working in HR Business partnering with increasing responsibilities and functional experience with a masters degree in human resources
  • International mindset, ability to work collaboratively as part of cross-functional and cross-cultural team.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong foundation of business fundamentals, measurement and business finance.
  • Strong interpersonal relation ability to navigate in the organization.
  • Mix of operational drive and strategic thinking: ability to thing strategically and translate into operational plans to make things happen.
  • Ability to drive change and to influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills with strong ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Proactive, decisive, solutions-oriented, and adaptable.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, internal guidelines, regulations, and policies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Candidate with MNC exposure will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of Workday is a plus.
