Job Summary
Leads the portfolio with overall accountability for GBS Quality within Global Business Services function
Job Responsibilities
Lead the function/processes defined in the portfolio in line with the GBS operating model to provide internal shared services support to the global quality teams across geographies
Define, develop, and execute operational plan for the portfolio with a continuous improvement mindset, committed to excellence, whilst aligned to GQC functional objectives
Shared accountability on GQC functional objectives with GBS leadership team
Main contact for all business process related progress, personnel, and performance updates
Ensures appropriate skilled resources are available and they have the appropriate training before execution of activities
Ensures all teams comply with all applicable CGMPs and follow Apotexs Global Policies and SOPs
Collaborate and liaise with GQC and other global stakeholders globally to ensure seamless delivery
Meets/exceeds business process service level agreements agreed with stakeholders with improved customer satisfaction
Ensures information flow, decision-making, and communication for all business process related activities and issues are executed appropriately
Leads the operational governance and core member of functional steering governance
Evaluate and recommend for integration of resources, systems and processes by identifying services that can be synergistically streamlined within the portfolio by understanding Apotex landscape across LOBs and BPS
Participate and lead performance conversations with employees, including monthly one on ones, to connect on performance; check in on employees progress toward achieving Objectives, offer support and remove barriers; and communicate and revisit performance expectations to reinforce and encourage high performance culture and a safe working environment for all employees.
Works to define Value Stream GQC processes to eliminate non-valued added activities. Eliminates functional silos and works in an integrated fashion to meet the functional budget objectives.
Utilize open, honest, two-way communication to build trust-based relationships with employees, business partners and direct leader while continuously improving leadership capabilities by personally seeking feedback and development

Job Requirements
Education: Masters/Bachelors degree in Pharmacy/Scientific/business discipline or similar
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent English language communication (verbally and in writing), interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong and proven quantitative, qualitative, analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills with a sound understanding of data integrity and research methodology
Demonstrated ability to identify and lead change management effectively across inter-disciplinary teams
Must be highly proactive, strong ability to prioritize, and capable of multi-tasking to a very high degree
Understanding of cross-cultural sensitivity and awareness
Knowledge on Pharmaceutical Quality Management Systems & regulatory requirements
Technical proficiency commensurate with job requirements in the function
Experience
Minimum 15 years of experience in the generic pharmaceutical industry; or similar/comparable industry experience
Experience in consulting organizations is preferred
