• The Deputy General Manager for Retail Home Appliances is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the retail operations, sales performance, and strategic planning of the home appliances division.
• This role involves managing store operations, driving sales growth, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring efficient inventory management.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the home appliances market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning and Execution:
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability in the retail home appliances division.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies.
• Set performance targets and KPIs for retail operations and monitor progress against goals.
Retail Store Management:
• Oversee the daily operations of retail stores, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Implement best practices in store management to enhance customer experience and sales performance.
• Ensure stores are visually appealing, well-stocked, and compliant with company standards.
Sales and Customer Experience:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
• Ensure efficient inventory management, including stock levels, replenishment, and merchandising.
• Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Monitor and manage inventory turnover to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
Marketing and Promotion:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.
• Ensure effective in-store marketing and merchandising to attract and engage customers.
• Analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of store managers and retail staff.

Financial Management:
• Develop and manage the divisions budget, ensuring alignment with overall company financial goals.
• Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions to address any variances.
• Prepare regular financial reports and present them to senior management.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of product quality and reliability.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications:
• Any Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in retail management, preferably within the home appliances industry.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, and customer experience management.
• Financial acumen and experience in budget management and financial reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using retail management software and tools, including ERP and CRM systems.
Working Conditions:
• Based in an office environment, with frequent travel to retail stores, customer locations, and industry events.
• Standard working hours, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet business demands.
• Physical demands include sitting for long periods, working on a computer, and occasionally lifting product samples and marketing materials.
