Job Description

We required Deputy Finance Controller typically includes a range of responsibilities aimed at supporting the Finance Controller or Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in managing the financial operations of an organization. Here are key aspects commonly found in such a role:

• Preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Implementing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Assisting in the development of financial strategies and long-term financial plans. Supporting strategic financial decisions through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Supervising and mentoring finance staff. Providing guidance and training to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
• Coordinating audits and tax filings. Liaising with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders as necessary.
• Identifying financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. Monitoring financial performance indicators and initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Overseeing cash flow planning and ensuring availability of funds as needed. Managing banking relationships and optimizing investment strategies.
