Job Specifications Education Qualifications : BE/Diploma - Mechanical / Production Work Experience: 3-5 years Preferred Industry: Automobile/Auto Ancillary Role/Designation :Tool Design - Senior Manager Location: Pune Business Unit: ERC Function: Proto Planning & Mfg Sub Function: Proto Mfg Position Summary: Objectives: 1. BIW Mfg Shop activities execution 2. Daily Work management 3. Knowledge of BIW sheet metal Fixtures Assembly and proving 4. Knowledge of BIW manufacturing process 5. Knowledge of CMM Inspection of BIW stamping parts and Assemblies 6. Knowledge of GD&T 7. Plan & Allocate the work to the team and guide them to meet delivery target time lines 8. Project management at daily level by coordination with various agencies. 9. Daily shop management including allocation, prioritization of work, decide offloading activities, discipline, shift scheduling, 5S maintenance etc. 10. Guide workforce for safe working. Horizontal deployment of safety, cost, productivity & quality improvements across ERC. 11. Productivity improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency 12. Coordinate with Manufacturing for improved quality and timely delivery 13. Participate for innovation by patents, notarizations, VAVE, Cost saving in main. Activities, suggestion schemes, Kaizen etc.
