Overview:

This role sits within S&T GCC supporting the largest Business Unit(BU) in the company.


This role will oversee multiple $1B brands across the BU's portfolio. This is a business-critical role with high leadership visibility. You will have the opportunity to work across many areas of the marketing agenda and make a direct impact on the business.



This is a strategic role to elevate and deliver impact of the existing Hyderabad Capability Center (HCC) Insights and Analytics sector partnership model to meet the BU's ever evolving business priorities. As the BU Business Analytics team lead in HBS, you will be leading the evolution and delivery of the program along with a team which is integrated in the BU's brand marketing and insights organization. The preferred candidate will need to have extensive all round insights experience on market data/retail analytics, consumer insights and team management.


Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities:

Business Analytics delivery for the BU from the Hyderabad Capability Center (HCC) in line with business needs • End to End delivery of business performance scorecards & ad-hoc day-to-day analytics
• Execute market, portfolio and brand level reporting of marketing KPI performance (utilizing dashboards, templated decks, and reporting tools)
• Develop preliminary explanations of business performance, drivers and optimization opportunities
• Monitor key channel, customer, competitor (incl. PL) and emerging player performance and execute reporting at required intervals
• Provide responses to ad-hoc follow-ups when double-click required with tables/charts/stories using relevant data
• Identify transformational and efficiency opportunities for data democratization.
• Leadership of BU strategic projects eg. AOP planning, Business Performance Diagnostics, Category Growth modelling, Innovation Performance tracking, competitive intelligence
• Lead business analytics partnership with brand marketing to deliver well rounded and integrated insights on strategic briefs during planning cycles.

Lead Design and Overall capability roadmap for Business Analytics • Work with BU Marketing and Insights Leadership to build and evolve roadmap for Business Analytics with new capabilities unlock and close any service catalogue white spaces.
• Collaborate with PepsiCo HCC/Global capabilities teams to bring in best in class practices and build scalable capabilities.
• Ensuring best tools and technology are applied to team toolkit to enable business deliver, eg. Power BI, Growth Navigator measurement, 3rdparty partnerships for analytical projects (innovation incrementality)

Lead delivery of advanced analytics activities for market team within the advanced analytics vertical: • Execute deep descriptive analytics of business performance and drivers to supplement standard reporting and inform data-driven decisions
• Advise and share Advanced Analytics models and best practices across PepsiCo teams to leverage and build Advanced Analytics capability.
• Develop, maintain, and apply statistical models to business questions - including forecasting, drivers analysis

Process management • Create and evolve communication processes with Business Partners (project planning, workflow monitoring, quality checks, on-going changes)
• Improve existing processes based on frequent end-user and Business Partner feedback loop

Simplification and Standardization strategy delivery • Support efforts to establish key market contacts within Market verticals as a delivery point of contact for all regular reporting needs for respective market business partners
• Support simplification, standardization and digitalization efforts (in cooperation with global and market stakeholders)

People Responsibilities:

Develop the market team capabilities, motivation and engagement levels • Lead a team of associates to manage their performance, learning & development needs, career growth.
• Spot opportunities for further developing the organization in order to continuously upgrade the Mentor and guide the team to deliver operational excellence and business partnership.
• Support subordinates and peers through mentoring & coaching in growing their functional and capabilities.
• Set and monitor performance goals for evaluation of direct subordinates.
• Support team motivation and retention
• Share best-practices and gold standard work within and across hubs to build consistent level of excellence around the world

Capability development • Enhance internal knowledge and team efficiency through productivity optimization and digitalization projects
• Address any gaps in team competencies (training and development) together with forming developmental plans for existing workforce and potential external talent search


Qualifications:
• An experienced Insight or Analytics professional with experience in a leading consumer goods company - 12 years+ experience
• Proven analytics, shopper research experience, consumer insights experience or commercial experience in a combination with strong analytical skills
