Job Description

The Deputy CEO will play a critical role in the strategic and operational leadership of LILO. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive managerial experience in the Marine industry . The Deputy CEO will work closely with the Directors to drive growth, optimize operations, and ensure the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership:

• Assist the Directors in developing and implementing business strategies, plans, and procedures.
• Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.).
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.

2. Operational Management:

• Optimize logistics and delivery operations to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

3. Team Development:

• Mentor and develop a high-performing management team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Encourage open communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.

4. Financial Oversight:

• Manage budgeting, reporting, and financial planning.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvement.
• Support the Directors in fundraising ventures and manage relationships with partners and stakeholders.

5. Market Expansion:

• Identify and explore new business opportunities within the marine industry.
• Drive marketing and sales strategies to increase market share and customer base.
• Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and trade shows.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-6 years of managerial experience in the marine industry.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within an e-commerce or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of marine supply chains, logistics, and industry regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of driving growth and innovation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
