Job Purpose
• Conduct Compliance Audits for Company's Diagnostic Units
• Draft, Negotiate, and Execute Agreements / MOUs
• Assist in managing litigations and facilitating early resolution and settlement of legal cases
Key Responsibilities
• Contracts Management:
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts. Ensure the execution and handover of signed agreements to the legal department.
• Compliance Support:
• Assist the Home Office (HO) Compliance team in scheduled compliance audits.
• Litigation Handling:
• Manage litigation, legal notices, and other legal matters in coordination with the HO Legal team.
• Maintain and circulate a tracker of all litigation and legal notices to the HO Legal team periodically.
• Regulatory Matters:
• Respond to show cause notices, letters, and handle personal appearances.
• Legal Advisory:
• Provide routine legal advice in coordination with the HO Legal team.
• Financial Compliance:
• Approve and raise PRS for advocate bills as per the approved fee structure by the HO Legal team.
• Material Litigation Management:
• Draft and review pleadings & motions, ensuring timely completion and filing.
• Liaise with and manage external counsel.
• Project Feasibility:
• Assess the legal feasibility of new projects and provide timely legal advice on transactional structures and strategic planning.
• Policy Development:
• Develop and recommend company policies and positions on legal issues.
• Legal Representation:
• Represent the company or its officials in various legal proceedings.
• Corporate Governance:
• Develop and adapt systems/policies/procedures to ensure compliance with corporate governance and statutory authorities (ROC, RD, SEBI, and RBI).
• Consumer Law:
• Include critical thinking and analysis, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, time management, and an in-depth understanding of consumer law.
• Company Law
• Comprehension of corporate management and governance
• Learning legal aspects of accounts and audit of companies with role of auditors.
• Understanding different restructuring methods for companies
Key Performance Indicators
• Timely submission of litigation MIS and regular legal review meetings.
• Effectively drafting and negotiating agreements to protect the Company's interests and mitigate legal risks.
• Coordination among internal and external agencies to ensure timely closure of transactions.
• Assistance to Legal operations cell as required.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
• Graduate in Law, LLB, LLM
Experience:
• 5 to 6 years of experience
