:Our Digital Service Line is currently looking for industry-leading seasoned "Sr. Test Engineer-Automation Testing" professionals with hands-on experience.The shortlisted candidate should have the ability to analyse technical needs and work with the customers to develop project scope of work documents and Project Plans.The responsibilities are primarily technical, although there is a strong element of functional understanding of the business process.SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Your main mission will be within the SDD.
• As a Deploy and Release engineer, you will be responsible for reinforcing the project team with the contribution of your competence and expertise in the deployment & Release of industrial software and automation in a multi-product environment.
• You will work in an international and multicultural team. Proficiency in English is essential.
• You will bring an ample degree of industry knowledge to your position, which will help you in implementing a systems operations methodology maximized to the needs of the group.
• As an experienced engineer, you will also participate in the monitoring of the validation and the quality of the system developed by one or several suppliers.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

• Candidate should able to meet Deploy deliverables (Aligning to CI-CD) in line with project release plan
• Individual contributor for Deploy (CI CD), Tools & Release Management across one or more projects as part of SDD group and support Internal and External Customers.
• As a Deploy & Release Engineer, you will also look in to Ansible Building Blocks - Creation of Roles, Playbooks, Yaml Files, Configurations, ability to coach Teams on Deployments & ensure success.
• Work closely with development, product development, and operations departments to ensure quality and timely services are delivered.
• Work closely with Release Manager and enable the RM Tools, CI-CD Tool Stacks and contribute to Seamless Releases in IIOT Space.
• Support project teams with technical explorations that are needed to develop an understanding of prospective solutions which will extend and provide future business functionalities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Experience with build, release and deployment on Microsoft & Java technologies
• Experience automating release and build processes.
• Technical Exploration analysis, alternative evaluations
• Coordination with product owners, Tech leads for needs understanding
• Support the creation of documentation and training material
• Work independently with minimum supervision.
• Work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSEducation:

• Degree level or industry experience equivalency
• Courses related to the area of responsibility and project management.

Experience:

• 8+ years\' experience as Deploy and release Engineer with strong knowledge on .NET/C#, Java programming skills alongwith windows, DevOps practices, virtualization technologies including DevOps Release Management.

Technical Skills / Competencies | Deploy:

• Working experience and understanding on Iac tools primarily Ansible
• Expertise on Ansible - Playbooks, Roles, Yaml Files, configurations, Deployment
• Working experience and understanding of Jenkins, Artifactory and build technologies like Maven, Gradle
• Working experience of SCM systems such Git/Github/Bitbucket
• Experience in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python or equivalent.
• Working experience in supporting IT and OT based product development.
• Worked actively in Agile Framework & Methodologies
• Minimum 5 years of development experience using C# .NET or Java
• Excellent design and coding skills using C# / C++, .NET Framework on Windows
• Continuous integration tools administration - Jenkins Jobs, Deployments/TFS Builds, etc.
• Hands on experience with CI/CD pipeline / DevOps tools
• Basic proficiency of VC tools - Team Foundation Server (TFS)/Bitbucket/VSTS, etc.
• Windows Installer (MSI) technology with application packaging tools - WIX (3.x/4.x), InstallShield
• Web application development (HTML / CSS / Javascript).
• Knowledge on Package management tools - Nuget, etc.
• Basic proficiency with Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019
• Basic understanding of SQL language and servers like MSSQL or MySQL

Technical Skills / Competencies | Release Management

• Plan and manage Agile release cycles using RM Tools like Digital AI (Xebia Labs)
• Technical Hands on Experience in CI-CD Tool Set (Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Jfrog, Ansible, Any Monitoring Tool)
• Hands on Integration of Tools Experience to enable Release Management.
• Facilitate collaboration between development, QA, and operations teams
• Conduct Change Control Board (CCB) and Configuration Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
• Implement and improve release management methodologies
• Oversee product development and release governance

Behavioral Competencies:

• Advance proficiency in Interpersonal skills, Problem-solving, Planning & execution and Impactful communication
• Proficiency in customer orientation and technical acumen
• Experience working in an agile environment is a plus
