Role: An ASM/DM is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. Their duties include motivating sales teams, creating business strategies, developing promotional material, and training new staff. As the Store Manager, you will supervise the operational and organizational standards of the store. Your duties will include undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring inventory levels, and developing business strategies The ideal candidate must be able to improve customer satisfaction and meet monthly sales goals. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should also demonstrate outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: Store Operations \xe2\x80\xa2 Set and agree on store performance targets with Ops Manager \xe2\x80\xa2 To be accountable for all aspects of the commercial operation of store by managing the performance of store teams to deliver agreed business targets. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure that the Store is always merchandised to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s desired standard and that, with liaison with the Ops Manager and Merchandise Team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays. \xe2\x80\xa2 Undertake store activities such as managing store budgets and updating financial records. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer requirements, and profits. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure the Store has the correct levels of stock and that replenishment orders are placed, in close liaison with the Retail Ops Manager and Merchandise Team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for maintaining the Inventory levels at the store and controlling Shrinkage as per Company Standards. Customer \xe2\x80\xa2 Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. \xe2\x80\xa2 Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 To increase the shop customer base by consistently delivering impeccable customer service. \xe2\x80\xa2 Promote cross branding for customers to increase the portfolio for them \xe2\x80\xa2 Create business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability. People \xe2\x80\xa2 Hire, train, and oversee new staff. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the employee onboarding process at the time of new joinee \xe2\x80\xa2 Handhold the new joinee at the store by assigning buddy and also providing them with in store training \xe2\x80\xa2 Motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff. Regular review and feedback to be shared to ensure they are groomed well and are high on performance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for store expense management, store budgets, inventory control increase sales throughout the year and achieve set financial targets. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure store and staff presentation and standards are in line with the brand requirements Processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure store processes are clearly defined and communicated to teams and are followed at all the times. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support store audits as per schedule. Desired Skills & Abilities \xe2\x80\xa2 High on Empathy \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong leadership skills with ability to coach - effectively teach/develop others to next level. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good energy levels - with ability to be involved in multiple tasks and ability to juggle. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good analytical skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective listening and communications skills \xe2\x80\x93 simplify communication with ability to put the point across the board. \xe2\x80\xa2 Superior understanding of Indian retailing and global trends. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication and interpersonal skills - understand customer needs \xe2\x80\xa2 Good at relationship building - conversion to sales \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to follow brand and store guidelines \xe2\x80\xa2 Good operations experience \xe2\x80\x93 receiving stock, inventory keeping, cash handling etc. Education & Experience Required: \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 8 to 10 yrs. Previous proven Department Manager experience in high fashion retail. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to understand and handle aspects of retail operational and merchandising - from the delivery of stock to the final sale of the product. Should be able to share multiple instances of \xe2\x80\x9cCustomer Delight\xe2\x80\x9d and strong \xe2\x80\x9cone-to-one relationship building\xe2\x80\x9d. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to manage and develop a positive and productive team. Previous experience conducting staff appraisals/dealing with staff issues effectively and nurture their growth within the organization. \xe2\x80\xa2 Motivational leadership skills. Must be highly motivated and committed with a can do attitude \xe2\x80\x93 thrives on the demands of a busy boutique with enthusiasm, high energy levels and a determination to deliver top class sales from his/her team.
