About Us: HCDSH is a leading provider of dental solutions, committed to delivering high-quality dental restorations and appliances. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Lab Technician to join our team.

Job Summary: The Dental Lab Technician is responsible for fabricating dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances. This role requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and knowledge of dental materials and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fabrication and Repair:

- Construct and repair full or partial dentures, crowns, bridges, and orthodontic appliances.

- Use various materials such as metal, ceramic, and acrylic to create dental prosthetics.

- Ensure the accurate fit and function of dental appliances through careful measurement and adjustment.

2. Quality Control:

- Inspect completed work for compliance with specifications and standards.

- Perform finishing and polishing of dental prosthetics to ensure a natural appearance.

- Adjust and repair dental appliances as needed.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with dentists, orthodontists, and other dental professionals to understand specific patient requirements.

- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

- Provide technical support and advice to dental professionals as needed.

4. Equipment and Safety:

- Operate and maintain dental lab equipment, including milling machines, 3D printers, and casting machines.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

- Keep the lab organized and clean, maintaining equipment in good working order.

5. Documentation and Records:

- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task.

- Ensure proper documentation of patient-specific information and lab orders.

- Follow all HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in dental laboratory technology is preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Lab Technician.

- Proficiency in using dental lab equipment and materials.

- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology.

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
