We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Mechanic to join our team at JKKN Dental College and Hospital. The Dental Mechanic will play a vital role in supporting our mission of enabling a platform for all to seize exponential opportunities in dentistry and healthcare, ultimately contributing to the development of dynamic leaders in the industry. The Dental Mechanic will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining dental prosthetics, appliances, and instruments, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and education.


Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and repair dental prosthetics, appliances, and instruments according to prescribed specifications.
• Collaborate with dentists, dental technicians, and other members of the dental team to ensure accurate and effective patient treatment.
• Maintain and calibrate dental equipment and instruments to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and materials to contribute to the innovation and improvement of dental prosthetics and appliances.
• Provide technical support to dental students, faculty, and staff, facilitating their learning and skill development.
• Contribute to the development of new dental prosthetic techniques and procedures, aligning with the college's commitment to innovative solutions.
• Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used, ensuring accurate documentation for patient care and quality control.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a diploma or equivalent is required.
• A relevant technical diploma or certification in dental technology or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Dental Mechanic or Dental Technician is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of dental prosthetic fabrication techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in using dental laboratory tools, machinery, and CAD/CAM technology.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise work.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the dental team and students.
• Commitment to staying current with advancements in dental technology and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while demonstrating a proactive and innovative mindset.
