Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Dental Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist in various dental procedures, prepare and sterilize equipment, and ensure that our patients are comfortable and well-informed. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about dental health, has substantial experience in the field, and enjoys working in a team environment. Must be proficient in understanding English, to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
Timing - Mon-Sat (9am-6pm)
Responsibilities:
• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including but not limited to extractions, fillings, and root canals.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures.
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
• Take dental x-rays and process x-ray film as directed by the dentist.
• Record patient medical and dental histories.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and order as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a professional and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Must be proficient in understanding English, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in understanding English.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

Pay: ?14,000.00 - ?19,000.00 per month
