We are looking for a Demi Chef de Partie for our innovative tapas bar NARRA in the Andamans. The venue hosts an open kitchen and bar, so great interpersonal and social skills are essential. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for culinary arts, demonstrate punctuality and reliability, and thrive in a challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist sous chef with kitchen operations in line with all policies and standards.

Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.

Planning and preparation of food.

Ensuring food quality and taste.

Follow proper handling and right temperature of all food products.

Coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Demi Chef de Partie but we might also consider a very strong Commis..
• Strong culinary skills and a thirst for creativity, with the ability to contribute innovative ideas while following menu guidelines.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of performance and professionalism.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the business.
• Formal culinary training or certification from a recognized culinary institution is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?24,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
