Objectives of the Position
Lead BCIL Demand Planning and Customer Service Team. The main tasks includes collaborate with Customers for Demand forecasting / Order to Cash process and resolve customer complaints with in agreed TAT.
Support in the strategy, design, optimization and implementation of the supply chain management processes that consist of the following process elements: Order to Cash, transport management, non-conformance-management, change management and collaborate with internal customer to meet customer demand. It also includes the provision of information, tools and concepts to support and guide the business units and corporate functions to generate competitive advantage through supply chain management..

Demand Planning
• Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing team and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, refine forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. Calculate optimistic and pessimistic projections to evaluate the risks associated with proposed plans.
• Guide the team to deliver OEM-specific concepts by analysing trends and technical requirements of the customers.
• Develop and Provide Technical solutions and Strategies that leads to development and growth of the allotted segments while selling BASF technology proposals through the team.
• Be the go-to person and collaborate Global key accounts managers and Global / Regional technology teams.
Customer Service :
• Lead and co-ordinate the order-to-cash tasks and processes, fostering a culture of customer focus on the team
• Perform sales and delivery order management tasks, e.g. sales order creation and processing changes, follow-up on blocked orders, and L/C (letter of credit) handling
• Contribute to development of customer relationships through proactive customer communication related to order management, e.g. product availability, prices, order status, and delivery tracking
• Support sales team activities by performing background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends
• Support credit management, invoicing, and A/R (accounts receivables) management, e.g. monthly closing, invoice corrections, handling invoice discrepancies, and manual invoicing
• Apply and maintain customer master data in SAP and document shipping instructions
• Report and manage customer complaints via NCM (non-conformance management) system and proactively communicate status to sales team
• Support implementation of business rules related to the customer order management process
• Provide order status reports and monitor customer sales forecast, ensuring orders are within forecasts
Supply chain cost optimization
• Identify cost drivers within supply chain processes, initiate cost saving measures.
• Develop or optimize the utilization of sub-regional SC resources through evaluating costs, profitability and working capital requirements in materials, supply chain allocated costs, storage/shipping/handling charges, sales administration expenses, etc. in order to recommend to the supervisor, programs to improve the economic performance of individual supply chain activities and enhance the finance returns.

Edu c a t i o n: Bachelor's Degree/MBA Material & Logistics Management / Equivalent, Masters Preferred.
W o r k in g E x pe r i e n c e : Minimum 8-10 Years.
T e c hn i c a l & P r o f e ss i o n a l K n o w l ed g e: Expertise of working in Auto Industry / allied industry, FMCG, industry recognition / experience in the field.
