:Role : Demand PlannerLevel : T1Location : HyderbadJob Purpose/OverviewDemand Planning is a key back end process which drives the demand step of the S&OP+ process along with working closely with Supply Planning to ensure optimum stock availability at the warehouses. The associate is responsible to facilitate sales teams and help them generate Short/Mid/Long term forward Demand plan after incorporating inputs from past trends, portfolio step, market insights, new products launch plans, portfolio changes and supply availability information. This position will have to play a leading role in driving S&OP+ Process for India. Also responsible for minimizing FG inventory write offs (prevent FG SLOB).Job ResponsibilitiesCustodian of the Demand Planning process for India business unitDevelop an aggregate demand plan basis supporting assumptions on a periodic basis as part of S&OP+ processStatistical forecasting for generating Baseline forecast \xe2\x80\x93 Key user of the statistical tool, ensuring clean history, Master updation and causal updation.Develop, document, update, and challenge the factors and assumptions supporting the demand plan.Coordinate with the Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply functions in preparing for the demand review step of the S&OP+ process. Ensure building of a consensus demand plan for the defined period.Drive accuracy in demand planning \xe2\x80\x93 review KPIs and take actions to deliver on targets. Measure and report actual vs planned performance overall, by market segment, sales territory and product family, item and mix.Coordinate with Supply in the development of marketing/manufacturing strategies and objectives, including customer service objectives, inventory targets, backlog/lead time objective and decision points (time fences) for managing change.Coordinate with Marketing & Trade Marketing teams to frame assumptions on the impact of activations/promotions. Validate the assumptions vs actual performance.Inputs on Route to Market volume forecast for launch and repeats of new productsBe the point of contact for all the sales teams on managing the change in demand trends and support short term requirements. Provide recommendations in formulating Distributor stock norms. Drive joint planning with key emerging channels during eventsAnnual BudgetingGenerate the annual forecast as part of the annual Business Planning exercise basis category growth and Channel mix assumptions, and Sales & Marketing investments.Build scenarios basis varying investment plans \xe2\x80\x93 Base plan, ambitious plan, etcNon Quality Costs (NQC) \xe2\x80\x93 Ensuring FG SLOB remains within the budget. Monitoring the stock status and ensuring the right liquidation plan (coordination with stakeholders) to mitigate write-offs. Understanding the causals for the NQC and incorporate the learnings in planning.Capability BuildingEnterprise Planning \xe2\x80\x93 Own the Demand Planning process and drive maturity while working closely with global Centre of Excellence teams.Lead all digital initiatives related to Demand PlanningJob Specifications/QualificationsEducation & Professional QualificationsB.Com/B.Sc./B.Tech + MBAKnowledge / ExperienceAt least 3 years experience in Demand Forecasting, Statistical Methods & Knowledge of Base Line Generation.
