:Module Lead/ RemoteJob Summary xe2x80x93Looking for COBOL/SQL developer with good knowledge in insurance domain and Life admin tools.Years of experience needed xe2x80x93 around 8 yearsTechnical Skills:Must have experience on Life Admin Systems/ Life Insurance, Annuity productsxefx82xb7 Min 8+ years of experience in development of policy administration system (COBOL)xefx82xb7 Min 8+ years of experience in development/maintenance and Support projects of Mainframe preferably Cobol & DB2.xefx82xb7 Min 6+ yrs of experience in SQLxefx82xb7 Must have good knowledge of Policy Administration System design and architecturexefx82xb7 Must have hand-on experience of Insurance Policy Admin system Migration/Conversion projectxefx82xb7 Must be aware of new technologies and market updates with respect to Life and Annuity businessxefx82xb7 Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and design the proposed IT solution.xefx82xb7 Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations and provide input to information/ data flow, and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.xefx82xb7 Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.xefx82xb7 Document High Level and Low Level technical specifications.xefx82xb7 Good communication, problem solving & interpersonal skillsxefx82xb7 Having Life insurance certifications such as LOMA will be added advantagexefx82xb7 Good knowledge in COBOL/DB2/VSAMxefx82xb7 To be able to conduct Meetings & Reviews , Reporting & Documentationxefx82xb7 Should be Very well versed with tools and techniques for efficient project management and reporting.About MphasisMphasis applies next-generation technology to help enterprises transform businesses globally.
