What you will learn and contribute to

The IPTel, Delivery Manager is a critical function within the Cloud & Network Services Business Group and is responsible for the management of delivery of services to our customers globally.


The role, Delivery Manager, is responsible for the continuous development of new services delivery capabilities, driven either internally, with Product Line Management (PLM) or from external market needs.


As a leader in the IPTel team, you will have the opportunity to lead teams in the delivery of the latest IMS core solutions utilizing the latest cloud technologies both public and private cloud.



Main Responsibility Area:-

As part of our team, you will:


• Maintains an understanding of the IMS domain inclusive of 5G as well as cloud infrastructure as it pertains to IMS Core solutions.
• Hiring and professional development of engineers.
• Mentor the team, to interact with them and to support them in their professional growth, and to identify and recognize talents
• Develop a positive & productive culture within the project team members
• Establish working relationships with peers and various Nokia internal stake holders.
• Maintain the supply & demand forecast for assigned perimeters.
• Maintains and reports on IPTel Delivery KPI's, and other administrative items
• Ensures the use of tooling and automation, best practices, and Blueprints.
• Reviews project deliveries to ensure best quality and delivery model implementations, with continuous improvements.
• Develops and ensures proper training & up-skilling in IMS domain area for the IPTel Teams globally.
• Partners with peers within and external to the Team on project delivery, escalation and lessons learned


Position Requirements: -

• Core technology savvy and good understanding of competitive landscape
• Relevant 15+ year track record of system integration services and delivery or solutions creation
• Understanding of system and services business
• Skilled in complex solution lead development, strong customer facing and presentation skills
• Experience in working in a matrix organization leading virtual, multi-cultural teams without hard reporting lines
• Good understanding of Delivery process and tools
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure in critical environments for sustained periods
• Ability to work on Automation initiatives.
• Must be self-motivated and dynamic
• Must be willing to take ownership of issues and drive them to a successful resolution
• Must be able to work independently and deliver high quality work
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
