Delivery Head - Modernization Migration Services

Your Role:



As the Delivery Head for Modernization Migration Services , you will assume a key leadership role in driving the successful delivery of modernization and migration projects across multiple client accounts. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project delivery, leveraging GenAI and automation tools to optimize workflows and improve efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity to shape the delivery strategy, mentor teams, and maintain long-term client relationships, while directly contributing to the growth and success of MSS.



Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery Leadership:



o Lead the end-to-end delivery of Modernization and Migration projects across a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective project outcomes.



o Develop, standardize, and implement delivery frameworks and methodologies that drive efficiency, scalability, and quality for modernization services.



o Leverage GenAI , AI/ML-based automation tools , and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure ) to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and reduce delivery timelines.



o Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure the continuous delivery of excellence, meeting client expectations and business goals.

• Collaboration with Sales and Pre-Sales:



o C Collaborate with sales executives/partners during the pre-sales phase to provide technical expertise and assist with solution design.



o Engage with clients to define project deliverables , timelines , and success metrics , ensuring alignment with their business objectives and MSS's strategic goals.



o Contribute to proposal development , client presentations , and solution design to ensure MSS's value proposition is clearly communicated to potential clients.

• Team Building & Leadership:



o Build and mentor a high-performing delivery team capable of executing complex modernization projects efficiently.



o Establish training programs to upskill the team on the latest GenAI , automation tools , and emerging technologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.



o Promote a culture of innovation and accountability, ensuring the team remains adaptable, collaborative, and committed to excellence.

• Toolsets and Playbooks:



o Design, develop, and maintain reusable playbooks for modernization activities, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.



o Continuously evaluate and integrate new GenAI capabilities into the delivery frameworks, staying ahead of emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

• Customer Relationship Management:



o Serve as the primary escalation point for any delivery-related concerns, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining strong client satisfaction.



o Build and maintain long-term client relationships , delivering consistent value through Migration and Modernization services and ensuring repeat business.



o Proactively manage client communication, ensuring transparent project updates, issue resolution, and high levels of client engagement.

• Delivery and Operation Excellence:



o Establish a robust structure for delivery engagements, optimizing resource utilization, project cost, and overall delivery quality.



o Ensure compliance with security , quality , and regulatory standards across all projects, managing risks and mitigating delivery bottlenecks.



o Implement continuous improvement processes to drive efficiency , resource optimization , and cost reductions.

o Proven experience in leveraging GenAI and AI-based automation to accelerate modernization and migration processes.



o Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and their use in modernization and migration projects.

• Technological Proficiency:



o Expertise in GenAI, cloud-native technologies, AI/ML-based automation, and DevOps methodologies.



o Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) and Collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Teams, Zoom) to ensure smooth project tracking and communication.



o Solid understanding of the latest trends in cloud computing, data-driven solutions, and digital transformation technologies.

• Operational Excellence:



o Strong process optimization skills, with the ability to implement continuous improvement processes that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.



o Ability to monitor and optimize resource utilization, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on time.



o Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and Lean principles to enhance team collaboration, flexibility, and speed of delivery.

• Team Building & Mentorship:



o Proven experience in building and leading cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, analysts, and other technical roles.



o Strong ability to identify skill gaps within the team and drive training initiatives to upskill team members on emerging technologies like GenAI and cloud solutions.

• Project Management Excellence:

o Deep understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, and the ability to adapt them to the specific needs of modernization and migration projects.

• Qualifications:



o Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.



o 10+ years of experience in delivery management, with at least 5 years focused on modernization and migration services.



o Relevant certifications in Project Management (PMP), Agile, SAFe, Azure Architecture, or related fields are a plus.
