Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving Duties:
• Safely operate a light commercial vehicle to transport goods, materials, as per company requirements.
• Plan routes efficiently and follow schedules to ensure timely deliveries or pickups.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety.
• Report delays, accidents, or any unforeseen issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Vehicle Maintenance and Cleaning:
• Regularly inspect the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean (interior and exterior) at all times, including washing and vacuuming as needed.
• Check and maintain fluid levels (oil, coolant, brake fluid, etc.) and tire pressure.
• Schedule and oversee routine servicing and minor repairs, ensuring the vehicle is always in good working condition.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Ensure all vehicle-related documentation, such as insurance, registration, and permits, are up to date.
• Customer Interaction:
• Maintain a polite and professional demeanor when interacting with clients or passengers.
• Address customer queries or concerns regarding deliveries or transportation.
• Safety Practices:
• Follow company safety policies and procedures to ensure personal and public safety.
• Regularly inspect safety equipment, such as first aid kits or fire extinguishers, in the vehicle.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license for light commercial vehicles (state-specific class/license).
• Proven experience as a driver with a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Ability to read maps, GPS systems, and follow written instructions.

Pay: ?11,000.00 - ?14,000.00 per month
