A Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods, packages, or materials to various locations in a timely, safe, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery Operations
• Pick up, transport, and deliver items to clients or customers.
• Verify delivery details and ensure the correct items are delivered.
• Obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery when required.
• Vehicle Maintenance
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure it is in good condition.
• Report any vehicle issues or required repairs to management promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Customer Interaction
• Communicate politely and professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns, redirecting them to appropriate departments when necessary.
• Time Management
• Plan delivery routes to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
• Manage schedules and deadlines effectively, adapting to unexpected changes in plans.
• Compliance
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Handle goods safely to prevent damage or loss.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning tools.

Skills

• Excellent navigation and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle stress under tight deadlines.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (if required).
• Extended periods of driving or standing as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in logistics or courier services.
• Familiarity with local streets and neighborhoods.
