Job Description

DLCO Group Of Companies are currently seeking a full-time Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a male candidate below the age of 40 and based in or around Chennai, as candidates from this area will be given preference. Qualifications are not required for this position; however, possessing a valid 4 wheeler driving license is mandatory. Immediate joining is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Safely and responsibly operate the company vehicle to transport staff and materials as required.

Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, including regular checks and reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other drivers.

Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with clients, staff, and other individuals encountered during the course of work.

Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.

Plan and organize routes to ensure timely arrivals and departures.

Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption.

Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations to the appropriate authorities and company management immediately.

Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation, safety, and reporting.

Requirements:

Male candidates below the age of 35 are eligible to apply.

Minimum 2-3 years of experiences required with the 4 wheeler background

Candidates based in or around Chennai will be given preference.

Possession of a valid Badge 4 wheeler driving license is mandatory.

Previous experience as a professional driver is a plus but not required.

Ability to communicate effectively in English or the local language.

Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects if required.

Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime if necessary.

Immediate joining is highly preferred.
