Job Description

Responsibilities:

Pick up packages from the warehouse, store, or designated point of origin. Safely load and transport goods to customers' addresses. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to the right recipients. Maintain a clear delivery schedule and manage time effectively. Collect payment for cash-on-delivery orders, if applicable. Follow all road safety regulations and traffic rules while delivering.

Skills & Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of the local area and routes. Ability to navigate using GPS or maps. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to handle physical tasks (carrying, loading, unloading). A valid driver's license (for motorized delivery) or other necessary transportation permits. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Punctuality and reliability.

Preferred:

Prior experience in a delivery or driving role. Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and handling.

Working Conditions:

Working hours may vary depending on the company's operating hours, which could include weekends or holidays. The job may require handling heavy packages and driving long hours.
