Position Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Boy to join our team. The role involves delivering food orders and healthcare technology products to customers efficiently, safely, and with professionalism. The ideal candidate will have strong navigation skills, a commitment to timely service, and excellent interpersonal abilities to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Operations:

Safely deliver food orders from local restaurants or central kitchens to customer locations.

Transport healthcare technology devices/products (e.g., medical equipment, home health devices) while ensuring product safety and integrity.

Verify the accuracy of all items before delivery to ensure completeness and correctness.

2. Customer Service:

Greet customers politely and maintain a professional and helpful demeanor.

Address customer inquiries, complaints, or issues in a professional and solution-oriented manner.

Ensure a high-quality customer experience with every interaction.

3. Route & Time Management:

Plan the most efficient delivery routes to ensure timely delivery.

Adapt routes based on real-time conditions such as traffic congestion, weather changes, or special customer requests.

Meet deadlines for time-sensitive deliveries without compromising safety.

4. Payment & Documentation:

Handle cash on delivery (COD) or digital payments when applicable, ensuring accuracy in transaction processing.

Maintain delivery logs and related documentation accurately as per company policy.

5. Safety & Vehicle Maintenance:

Operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly, following all traffic laws and company guidelines.

Perform routine checks on vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.

Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.

6. Adherence to Standards:

Follow company policies, health & safety guidelines, and industry best practices during deliveries.

Ensure compliance with healthcare product delivery protocols, particularly for sensitive medical or health devices.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or similar role is preferred.
• Possess a valid driver's license or appropriate delivery permit with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with local area navigation and the use of GPS or other mapping tools.
• Proficiency in using delivery apps, devices, or related tracking tools.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing routes and customer needs with efficiency.
• Basic technical familiarity with healthcare technology devices is a plus but not mandatory.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport goods as required by delivery needs (including medical devices or food packages).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in healthcare technology delivery or logistics.
• Familiarity with the food delivery industry or customer-facing service roles.
