Monitor the issues/defects raised for different projects in trackSpace and ALM.
Validate the contents as per agreed guidelines and severity / priority of these defects.
Moderate the Defect Meeting and discuss these with projects and providers.
Align them to the upcoming release after discussion with the vendors and project teams.
Follow-up with development team for getting those fixed.
Co-ordinate with internal as well as external customers for all defect related topics.
Once fixed, assign them back to the submitter for retest.
Follow up with the testers for completing the retest.
Re-planning the defects, which are moved to upcoming releases.
Circulate the release notes with details of defects fixes in each delivery.
Moderate daily defect meetings and weekly project defect meetings.
Post production defect leakage metrics.
Root Cause Analysis for Production Defects.
Prepare the Defect Leakage Metrics and present it to Operations team.
Follow up on closure of the action items discussed in the Defect Leakage Meeting.
Continuous monitoring of Product Quality throughout the increment cycle.
Maintaining MIS reports to different stakeholders that provides inputs to improve the product quality.
Daily housekeeping of defects in the defect management tool.
Ad-hoc testing of defects whenever needed.
Mentoring new team members on operational topics and overall defect life cycle.
Provide recommendations for effective General Regression and new CFCs testing to avoid defects slippage to Production.
Impact assessment of changes coming as part of CFCs/ Product Upgrade to existing regression test cases.
