You will be responsible for high-quality food preparation, maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, and inspire and motivate your team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Production:
Takes care of daily food preparation to meet the standard and the quality. Knowledge of all food preparation. Awareness of all menu items, methods of cooking and presentation.
2.Staff collaboration:
Ensure effective communication between staff and friendly working environment. Coordinates daily tasks with the CDP. Follow the instructions & complete the daily tasks.
3. Inventory Management:
Able to estimate the daily cooking needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food. Knowledge of materials receiving, storage and utilizing the method of first in first out. Checks periodically expiry dates and proper storage of food items in the section.
4.Customer Service:
Ensure that the cooking and presentation of food is highest quality at all times.
5. Kitchen Cleaning:
Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and ensuring sanitation practices.
6. Health and Safety Compliance:
Follow all health and safety regulations. Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils.
7. Reporting:
Report any maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the manager immediately.
8. Budget:
Following the organization budget and minimizing waste.
9. Carry out:
Any other duties as required by management.
